Jennifer Raybould

Jennifer began her hairdressing career at Valianti’s in Marlborough and Hudson after graduating from Mansfield Beauty Academy in 1989. Her stepfather was Anthony Valianti, a master cutter and colorist. Her mother was Diane Davis, originally a nurse who had a second career as an aesthetician.
While working as an apprentice under a master cosmetologist, Jennifer was also an in-salon regional educator for the first natural haircare line, Lightworks, an aloe based product. During this time, Jennifer also pursued an advanced education in New York with Redken for expert color techniques and Boston for advanced cutting with master cutter John Sahag.
When Valianti’s closed in 1994, she went to work for The Hair Company in Hudson, MA from 1994-2002. Working for Jack Skelly, master colorist and Tressa educator, Jennifer was able to advance her knowledge of color theory and corrective color. During that time she also became a certified Pureologist after completing an in-depth training of the sulfate free, vegan haircare line, Pureology. Jennifer traveled to other salons to educate them about the products, all while continuing her education with Crew, Jingles, and Paul Mitchell, among others.
On August 27, 2002, with the help of family and friends, Jennifer opened Shine Salon making a dream come true. She is always looking to learn new techniques and loves to share what she’s learned with others. Jennifer specializes in formal and bridal hair, and is available for onsite styling the day of your event.
Linda Rousseau
Stylist
Linda has been a hair stylist in Marlborough for over 3 decades, previously working at D'Amores Hair Design for 10 years and James Alexander's for 12 years. Linda’s favorite part of her 37 year career has been working with the amazing clients that have spent time in her chair and have become like family.
Linda is trained in the Joico color system and balayage technique. She has product education in Joico, Redken, Aquage, the Liteworx system, and Bedhead.
She has a love of special occasion updos and styling, and specializes in family haircuts, color, foiling and more. Linda would love to welcome new clients, so give the salon a call to set up an appointment.

Linda has been in the business for 40 years. She has studied and practiced her craft in London, Toronto, Hawaii, New York, Chicago, Providence, and more. She is a former educator with Paul Mitchell. She was one of the owners of Hair Tenders for 21 years before coming to Shine in 2006. She loves sharing her knowledge with others but has a special love of expert hair coloring.
